ATCC recently launched their Toxicology portfolio. ATCC recognises that physiologically relevant cell-based assays are critical for the biomedical and toxicity data that cannot be obtained from animal/human models.
ATCC provides the cells, media, and reagents needed to explore renal, neural, airway, and skin toxicity for such applications as high-content screening, 3D culture, spheroid culture, permeability assays, metabolic stability and survival studies, and transport activity measurement. These toxicological tools can also be used to identify responses to environmental insults or to screen pharmaceutical compounds. These cells are applicable for bench work and large-scale screening and are fully characterized and functionally tested.
