Dr Mala Reddy

Scientific Divisional Manager

Mala has a PhD in Medical Science from Monash University including several years of experience as an academic lecturing Physiology and Clinical Biochemistry in South Africa and Australia. She also holds a Masters in Science from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Luton in the UK.

Mala is now the Divisional Manager for the Scientific business at In Vitro Technologies and is responsible for leading the Scientific team including our Life Science, Industrial Science and Diagnostics businesses. She is responsible for the development of the business strategies and future planning that are designed to meet the evolving needs of the Australian market and our global principals.  Her goal is ongoing development of the scientific team to meet their professional needs whilst enabling the team to provide the best service, support and technical assistance to accelerate discovery in science across the Australian academic and biotechnology markets.

Steve Bingle

Business Manager - Scientific Equipment

Steve joined the In Vitro Technologies family early 2017 to product manage the Animal Care and Lab Equipment portfolios.

Steve has a strong business acumen and is a results and customer-driven team leader with senior business and product development experience expanding more than 25 years.

Based in Sydney, Steve is responsible for sales, facility design and support for the In Vitro Technologies “Animal Care & Essential Laboratory Equipment portfolios.

In May 2020 Steve was appointed Business Manager – Scientific Equipment and is responsible for the employment, mentoring and leadership of the Scientific sales specialist, Product Management and Technical Service teams ensuring that we continue to provide the very best solutions and Care to all our customers across the Australian & New Zealand markets

Lorraine Barrett

New Zealand Country Manager

Lorraine has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Auckland and has over 14+ years’ experience within the Life Science and Healthcare industry. Lorraine first joined the In Vitro Technologies NZ Team in 2013 as the Life Science Product Manager for our Cell Culture portfolio. Since then Lorraine has moved into a management role and now manages the New Zealand Sales & Operations Team across our Life Science, Medical and Diagnostic divisions.

As the New Zealand Country Manager it is Lorraine’s responsibility to ensure we are constantly delivering the best possible service to all of our customers across all divisions. Lorraine enjoys working closely with our Customers, Territory Managers and Product Managers to ensure this service is reflected in our performance. We understand the importance of great customer service and delivering high quality products to our customers.

Rehen Paul

Marketing Manager

Rehen completed Post graduation studies in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from La Trobe University where his research was focused on novel inhibitors for Necroptotic regulators. He is proficient in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry. He joined In Vitro Technologies in 2017 as a Support Specialist in the Life Science division, and in 2018 he moved into a Territory Management role where he provided advanced scientific and technical support to Life Science researchers across the rapidly growing territory in Victoria. 

In 2021, he moved into Product Management looking after the promising Cell and Gene Therapy portfolio. In addition to that, he also looks after Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Diabetes and Obesity segments from our Scientific Division. Rehen is responsible for engaging with the wider In vitro team to further develop our presence in the respective markets

Cher-Lynn Soh

Product Manager - 3D cell culture and Protein analysis

Cher-Lynn has completed her PhD at the University of Adelaide where she studied the insulin growth factor (IGF) signalling pathways in cancer. Her research focused on characterising proteins involved in the IGF pathway using various methods to elucidate protein structure and function. 

Since then, Cher-Lynn has worked in the Life Science industry and gained experience on different techniques in biomarker analysis, tissue imaging and single cell technologies. She has now joined the In Vitro team as a Product Manager responsible for the 3D cell culture and protein analysis portfolios.  

Coupling a genuine interest for science and years of training on the bench, Cher-Lynn is motivated to help clients with their research needs

Sara Sadeghipour

Product Manager - Bioproduction

Sara completed her PhD at the University of Sydney where she studied the effect of mutations in the enterovirus 71 3D polymerase on genome copying fidelity and virulence in mice.

The overriding goal of her project was to develop a therapeutic vaccine for HEV71.

After completing her studies, Sara worked as a research fellow at the Heart Research Institute and Monash University. Sara gained extensive experience in Virology, Cell therapeutics and Stem Cell fields.

Since then, Sara had joined In Vitro Technologies Life Science Support team back in February 2019 and was soon promoted to team leader.

Sara then moved to a Technical Sales Representative Role in the Bioresearch space across VIC & SA in April 2021.

She has now re-joined In Vitro as a Product Manager responsible for Bioprocess portfolio, specifically the following vendors and brands:  INFORS HT, Univercells Technologies, Aquila biolabs, KERRY, C-CIT and Pfanstiehl.

Sara is committed to providing excellent technical support to ANZ bioproduction customers and very importantly her fellow work colleagues.

Jessica Leow

Product Manager

Jessica completed a Masters in Biotechnology from the Australian National University where her research was focused on creating a novel platform to study drug resistance in Malaria. Throughout the years, she has worked as a researcher across a number of fields such as biochemistry, molecular diagnostics and developmental biology.

Jessica then moved into the commercial world as a Product Sales Specialist where she received multiple outstanding sales achievement awards. She is now with In Vitro Technologies as a Product Manager responsible for Single Cell portfolio. Jessica enjoys working closely with the team to ensure the highest standard of customer service and technical assistance to our clients.

Jessica endeavours to be of assistance to the scientific community and be part of the move to a better future.

In her free time, Jessica loves to garden and hiking around Victoria.

Katelyn Meier

Product Manager – VIC/TAS

Katelyn completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science followed by honours at Deakin University where she focused on the regulation of gene expression in breast cancer cells.

Katelyn became part of the In Vitro Technologies team in 2017 as a Life Science Support Specialist and provided scientific as well as technical support to the consumables portfolio across Australia. She is now a Territory Manager and supports the needs of researchers across Victoria and Tasmania.

Frances Casamento

Equipment Specialist – NSW/ACT

Frances completed an Associate Diploma of Pathology at Sydney Technical College followed by a Master of Science in Medicine from Sydney University. Her research career focused in 2 areas: 1. The detection of PAPP-A protein as an early screening tools for Downs Syndrome in pregnancy. 2. Diabetic responses to transplantation and grafting of tissue, looking at the immunological effects. Published articles in both the Journal of Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Reproductive Biology and Cell Transplantation.

Frances is based in Sydney NSW and has been long a serving employees with In Vitro Technologies starting her career at Medos company in 1997. In Vitro Technologies acquired Medos Company in 2005 and during her years Frances has been a Territory Manager, Product Manager and an Equipment Specialist Life Science team.

Frances is responsible for the management of NSW life science equipment Sales, Training of customers face to face, Building relationships and offering the best Service, Support and Technical Assistance to the Life Science Researchers in NSW.

Josh Duthie

Equipment and Application Specialist - VIC

Josh has been working with various laboratory equipment for over 9 years, across many applications within research, manufacturing and testing laboratories. 

Josh loves to get out and be hands on working with customers to get the best out of our equipment. 

Outside of work his passion is to explore all parts of Australia with his family in their caravan.

Jeremy Hill

Equipment Specialist & Engineer - WA/SA

Jeremy joined In Vitro Technologies in September 2018 as Service engineer for Infection control and Scientific divisions, then recently taking on the challenge of the Equipment specialist in August 2021, whilst keeping the service aspect of his role for Scientific Division

Jeremy comes from a strong background of service engineering within the medical and bio- pharma industries traveling globally as a service engineer

After having worked on all seven continents across the globe, Jeremy settled in Western Australia back in 2008 and has quickly made Perth his home

Dr. Rocio Jimenez-Martinez

Territory Manager - QLD

Rocio completed a Degree in Dental Surgery and a Master’s degree in Dental Science at Autonomous University of Mexico State. She also completed her PhD in Immunology at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute-Griffith University. Her research focused in the screening, identification, testing and synthesis of compounds that enhance human immune function.

After completing her studies, she undertook a temporary position as a research officer at QIMR. She has recently joined the company as life sciences territory manager QLD.

Andrew Lowry

Equipment Specialist - QLD/NT

I have over 10 years’ experience in Scientific sales covering the Equipment, Consumables and Chemical portfolios.  Working across a broad range of fields including Life Science, Food and Beverage, Industrial and Mining.  

I joined In Vitro Technologies in July 2021 as an Equipment Specialist covering Queensland and Northern Territory, and really enjoy the personal interactions with the customers to help identify and provide solutions to meet their requirements.

Rachel Lund

Territory Manager - NZ South Island

Rachel has a PhD from the University of Otago and has worked as a Teaching Fellow and Laboratory Demonstrator in the Department of Physiology at University of Otago. Throughout her postgraduate research, Rachel has gained 4 years’ experience working with Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Tissue Culture applications.

Rachel is based in Dunedin and is responsible for all our Life Science & Industrial Science equipment and consumable needs for the South Island.  Rachel is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and technical sales support to all our customers.

Sheetal Bharadwaj

Territory Manager - VIC

Sheetal has a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from La Trobe University and completed her masters of biotechnology  (Research) at Monash University. Her masters research was focused primarily on muscular dystrophies and the role of myosin 10. Her time at Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute (ONJCRI) and Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI) has equipped her with extensive scientific knowledge. 

She joined the life science team in February 2021 and has actively contributed to the team. She enjoys working with customers and strives to provide excellent customer and technical assistance.

Dr. Vy Pham

Life Science Support Specialist - Team Leader

Vy obtained her PhD in Swinburne University of Technology where she studied the interactions of mammalian cells and infectious microorganisms with different types of nanostructured materials. She continued her postdoctoral research in polymer science for agricultural applications and developing vaccine delivery formulations for livestock, funded by Cooperative Research Centre for Polymers. With more than seven years conducting research in academia, she developed expertise in cell culture, cell imaging, polymer formulations and nanomaterial characterization.

Vy joined the In Vitro Technologies team in November 2021 as a Life Science Support Specialist to provide scientific and technical support to researchers across Australia.

Rupal Pichholiya

Life Science Support Specialist

Rupal Pichholiya is a recent graduate with Master of Biotechnology from Monash University.Rupal also participated in market analysis and healthcare administration work.

Working both in the laboratory and on the desk Rupal is confident to take diverse roles. With experience in dealing with customers and clients and resolving their issues. Her role at In Vitro Technologies, is to assist the Life Science Team as a Support Specialist and contribute towards day-to-day tasks.
