Combined with the , the ShakerBag Option facilitates the cultivation of mammalian, insect or plant cells in disposable bags with working volumes from 0.2 to 10 L in orbital .
Up to 3 x 2 L, 2 x 10 L or 1 x 20 L disposable bags from different manufacturers can be used in parallel in a single Multitron unit. Direct gassing of air or a gas mixture containing air/CO₂ allows for customized supply of oxygen to the individual culture bags and stabilizes the pH value as well. The mobile Pt100 controls the optimal temperature of the culture.
Moreover, a pass-through on the side of the unit allows cables of measuring sensors or gas lines to be guided into the incubation chamber.
