CGQ BioR

Optical biomass measurement in the bioreactor.

Non-invasive online biomass monitoring in bioreactors.

The CGQ BioR is a sensor attached to the glass wall of the bioreactor and the biomass will be measured optically. As a user-friendly plug and play technology, the sensor is compatible with the Minifors 2 bioreactor, thus enabling new possibilities of bioprocess control.

CGQ 1

  • Standard mode (520 nm): OD 0,5 - 30*
  • High cell density mode (940 nm): OD 15 - 300
  • Control based on results (i.e., induction of a specific cell density, etc.)
  • Easy to create complex feeding profiles based on biomass developmentt
  • Compare growth curves from different batches quickly
  • Comprehensive documentation of data gathered
  • Clear, comprehensive documentation for the data acquired
  • Soft sensor for correlating measured values with parameters such as OD or dry biomass
  • Minifors 2

Optek Turbidity Sensors

Turbidity sensors for biomass measurement.

Invasive turbidity sensors for online biomass measurement.

The Optek-ASD sensors are mounted in a port (12 mm or 25 mm) on the top plate of the vessel. Using the NIR absorption the sensors provide data on the growth of microorganisms and cell cultures.

Super Safe Sampler

Aseptic sampling system for bioreactors.

Aseptic, reusable sampling system for bioreactors.

Suitable for use with any benchtop bioreactor, the Super Safe Sampler allows researchers to withdraw the tiniest samples without losing any culture liquid. The sampler is fully aseptic, and its patented design eliminates the possibility of improper use.

super safe sampler 1

Features

  • Can be used with sterile and non-sterile syringes
  • Liquid cannot flow back into the culture vessel
  • Sampling valve disinfection guarantees uncontaminated sampling
  • Air backflush feature for emptying after sampling
  • No need to flush before taking the next sample
  • Culture liquid returns to the culture vessel aseptic and unchanged
  • Conserves valuable culture liquid
  • Suitable for small working volumes
  • Luer connectors eliminate the need for needles
  • One-way valve rules out handling errors
  • Twisting the syringe automatically opens and closes the sampling valve
  • Can be steam sterilized at 121 °C on any autoclavable culture vessel
  • Suitable for up to 25 autoclave cycles
  • Suitable for use with cultivation bags, spinner flasks, and other culture vessels

eve – The Bioprocess Platform Software

One single solution to unify all your equipment and data.

Digitize your bioprocess.

eve 1          chart 1 infors eve

eve® is able to do more than just plan, control and analyze your bioprocesses. The software integrates workflows, devices, bioprocess information and big data in a web-based platform, with which you can organize your bioprocesses in a web based system.

eve® is available in three packages:

Basic - Monitor bioprocesses
Take the first steps to digitalization of your bioprocess with a reasonable budget. The comprehensive functions for planning, monitoring and documenting batches are ideally suited for experiments in the shaker or simple applications in the bioreactor.

Standard - Control and automatize bioprocesses
In addition to the comprehensive features with which you can plan, control, monitor and document batches, predefined functions, among others, which you can individually adjust are available to you.

Premium - Full version supporting validation
Suitable for work in the validated environment according to FDA CFR 21 Part 11. In addition to the comprehensive options for planning, controlling, monitoring and documenting bioprocesses, you as a user receive additional safety features as well as validation documents which specify the software functions.

Features

  • Comprehensive overview of all your running batches
  • Display all variables (Offline, online, atline, …) on a single personalized chart
  • Create and save as any number chart views
  • Monitoring on any number of screens
  • Create intuitively complex batch strategies and phases
  • Preconfigured functions to control batch parameters
  • Fully automate your batch strategy or intervene manually at any time.
  • Gain real-time information for process control and analysis using integrated soft-sensors (software sensors)
  • Receive information from 3rd party software (e.g. Matlab) and use it to control running batch batches
  • Manage your batches, soft-sensors and recipes in libraries and export them as file if necessary
  • Create meta data for organisms and culture media in dedicated libraries
  • Create comprehensive batch or audit trail reports and export them as PDF or editable formats.
  • Connect all your bioprocess upstream equipment: bioreactors to shakers, mass spectrometers and balances
  • Drivers for standard and proprietary protocols (e.g. OPC, Modbus, Sartorius DCU, Applikon ADI)
  • Integration to any existing data analytics software, LIMS or ELN software landscape using REST API
